Peach Blossom

The poetry - Peach Blossom, originally from the Book of Odes, which was a collection of poetries from 1100 BC to 600 BC in China, was sung by family and friends.
The poetries were divided into three groups:

1. Feng meant ballads, selected from 15 countries and regions.
2. Ya was the music of Western Zhou Wang Ji (Wang Ji is the vicinity of capital city – Gaojing, now the city of Xi'an). Ya was "genuine music", the local music of leud states were called "Popular Music", the capital city of Emperor Zhou's dynasty was the center, in order to show respect to the emperors, the music of Wang Ji was called;the genuine music. And
3. Song was the religious music sung at sacrifices to gods and ancestral spirits of the royal house, and it was written mainly to glorify the God and the merits and virtues of the ancestors.

Peach Blossom was from Feng, and in this classical Chinese dance performance, the gorgeous peach blossom is a metaphor for a damsel full of youth. By describing the flowers, the fruits and the leaves of peach trees, the poet expressed the beautiful appearance of the damsel is important, and the inner beauty is essential, the virtuous is the foremost.

With 3000 years gone, the same poetry remains an unrestrained and bold beauty as if the ancient Chinese music could be heard.
